Things required for Sassoon Hospital (Pediatric Ward) - Christmas 2011

A. Medical/ Hospital Supplies (Consumables)

Any contribution towards buying of syringes, needles, etc, Bedsheets - 120 beds – 2 sets (240 bed sheets to tuck in beds). Details of medical consumables given below :

List of Consumables that can help-

1. Intracaths No 24, No 25 (requirement of 300 each) Approx. Cost Rs 40/- each (Rs. 12000/-)
2. Butterfly Scalp Needles No. 25 (requirement of 300) Approx. Cost Rs. 30/- each (Rs. 9000/-)
3. Paediatric Microdrip Chamber IV set (requirement of 500) Approx. Cost of Rs. 150/- each (Rs. 75000/-)
4. Tuberculine syringes (requirement of 300) Approx. Cost of Rs. 10/- each (Rs. 3000/-)

Contributions are welcome towards any of the above. Any amount is ok. We will put two or three donors together against each of the above.

B. For the Children (for Sunshine Room)

1. Cupboards (full/half size, steel – with see thru’ glass doors)
2. Carom Board (with coins) – new, if possible – big regular size.
3. Story Books (Hindi/ Marathi only)
4. Coloring Books
5. Crayons/ Pencils/ Erasers
6. Toys – pull alongs, blocks (non toxic). No soft toys please.
7. Picture Puzzles (used is Ok, but good condition, with all pieces intact)

C. Any contribution in cash / cheque. Cheques to be made in the name of SOFOSH (Society of friends of Sassoon Hospital). Donations exempt under 80 G of IT Act.
