Uk and Canada - our girls travel far and wide

Reshma has sent these pictures from UK and Canada

My "Star" of the month

Performances in twistntales have always been exceptional .... high energy, enthusiastic performance and very very visible ... and always recognised.

But i have started to feel that at times, there are performances of folks, not so much in the limelight, but for that month, much much more critical than all the other more visible ones. With this in mind, i started the "Star of the Month" award. This month, surely, Poorva has come up with an exceptional performance, way way beyond call of duty, and zero error. Operational efficiency is critical to the success of any event. September is when we did the Infy exhibition, and Poorva served as an able right hand. Most others in that age bracket take a couple of months to understand the business.

Poorva grasped fast, learnt quickly and was able to contribute. To become a contributing and value adding employee, in a very short timespan, to me is very very good. Thankyou Poorva, you definitely are a "Star" for September.

Jahnavi played a similar role in July, for the Harry Potter event. For September too, Jahnavi was in close contention. But July was truly her month. Again going way beyond call of duty, long hours and retaining enthusiasm, all the time enjoying it all, is truly "Star" worthy behaviour.

These, Shibani are "O" behaviour patterns. "Outstanding". In an appraisal process, when you force rank performance ratings, the "O"s stay on top. Completely visible, undisputed, Outstanding performances.

Thank you Jahnavi and Poorva.

Stretching and raising the bar of performance.

We finished with Infosys yesterday. My girls were marvellous. Every time i think i'm stretching them and asking them to over reach, they invariably do ... and with a spirit that warms the heart.

Hats off girls, and you did pull it off again. No thankyou this time, just sheer pride in the quality and quantity of work that all of you accomplished. I'm really blessed to have this wonderful spirit in them. I just can't single anyone out - from Poorva to Jahnavi, to tia and comeback kid, resh - all of you Roopa, Anushree, Sonali - it has been a total team effort. There may have been a few front line faces out there in Hinjewadi, but the successful numbers game at the end of it will not have been possible without the solid back up team @ tnt operations - Resh came back in time to do a solid cameo innings.

My stars of the show are definitely Reshma, Poorva, Jahnavi and Ravi.

We bid farewell to Reshma today. She leaves for Canada tomorrow. We are bidding farewell to Alisha tomorrow - She leaves for Nice by weekend. Slowly they are growing up and adding wings ... Soar and fly high, girls .... And i'm so glad to have been handing over your first pay cheques ever .... and nothing can take that away from me !
